Shouts from the stands is designed for football fans looking to debate there views on the beautiful game however biased they may be.
From time to time there will also be posts on other sports if there is an issue I feel needs to be brought up and can insight debate.
I am a freelance journalist looking to portray my thoughts and show off my ability as a journalist.
Although there will be some variants the main bulk of articles on this website will be opinion pieces if you disagree I urge you to comment, its viewers comments that will make this website.
I aim to update this site as regularly as possible. Whenever there is an issue in sport that can cause debate I plan to write about it.
As well as your article comments I would also like any general feedback you can give on the website. How easy it is to use, whether or not my writing style is easy to read or anything else you may want to add. If you have anything you need to tell me directly outside of a comment please email tony_alvarez_3@hotmail.com
Also if there is any article you feel needs to be written or that I could do justice to contact me on the above address and I will do my best for you.
As well as myself (Tony Alvarez) there will also occasionly be articles on here from a brilliant up and coming journalist Laurie Fitzgerald. Laurie a huge sports fan and a Tottenham season ticket holder brings a different approach to our articles. Keep a look out for his work.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy my site.
Now let’s get debating.

Really really like this blog! Clear and easy to understand articles, plus brilliant look and layout. Look forward to reading more.
Well done Tony, for designing this website, I hope and wish you plenty of success in the future. A true young talent, if anyone wants to read some of Tony’s articles (which he wrote for my table tennis club) please check out http://www.bbatt.co.uk
Great articles – as a freelance journalist myself (dealing with Motorsport), its always great for me to read others work and more so when its covering something else.
Keep up the good work
